DC, here we come!

This is the week that we, with the help of the IAB, are bringing a publisher group to DC to talk about the importance of federal privacy policies. No, I wouldn’t tune into C-SPAN, nor would I expect any juicy clips to emerge, (“I reclaim my time! Mr. Beeler, answer the damn question!”). I do hope we convince some people how the impact of 50 different sets of privacy regulations costs everyone, and I hope they see our community as a resource for further conversations. Furthermore, I hope they recognize the significance of me wearing a suit with shoes. Talk about sacrifice!

Quick fast forward to 2024: We already have 1/3 of our publisher attendees verbally committed to Base Camp in Amelia Island, FL March 10-13th. Make sure we know if you are interested in being there. Raise your hand.

Dayna Event Recap: STN Partner Summit

Two weeks ago, Rob and I had the opportunity to spend a few days with a valued partner of the Beeler.tech community, STN Video. They asked us to bring some of our Beeler.Tech event expertise to what they were doing, but frankly, they didn't need much of our help!  Not only were we able to listen to publishers share the opportunities they were able to capitalize on but they shared their challenges and what they need to continue to build to succeed in the coming quarters. 

For more than most of us, video is a substantial form of revenue - it’s also a bit of a headache with changing rules, formats, privacy regulations, viewability, fraud, targeting, and the “little piece of code” that will not be named but rhymes with nookie….maybe Marie Antionette was on to something with the whole cake thing after all.

Thank you to STN Video for letting us be there at the beginning of something special. Not sure how you'll top the whale watching next year!
