What's New in Careers

AF: LinkedIn’s 2023 Jobs on the Rise list uses unique LinkedIn data to uncover the 25 fastest-growing job titles over the past five years — providing insight into where the workforce is headed. Whether you’re currently job-seeking or not, the ranking uncovers trends that can help you define your next move and prepare for the future world of work. This year’s list includes titles such as Head of Revenue Operations, Growth Marketing Manager, Strategy & Operations Manager, and Online Campaign Manager. 

AF: Jon Walsh has organized an ad-tech job seekers group on WhatsApp. If you’re looking for an opportunity OR if you’re a hiring manager looking for high-quality candidates, consider this group. 

AF: Don't Underestimate Your Influence at Work is an insightful article about how we can all get better at recognizing the influence we have-- but may not be wielded effectively. 

AF: She Runs It is hosting a virtual Mentor Program Info Session on February 8 from 5:30 - 6:00 pm ET. The session is free and open to members and non-members interested in learning more about the She Runs It Mentoring Program. 

RB: All talk at this point is recession and layoffs. Business insider gives it a potentially positive spin since most people find jobs relatively quickly.

RB: This article dates back to March 2022, but I just learned about it, and it mentions something MediaOcean is doing: “hiring managers strictly focus on the requirements to be successful in the role versus behavioral traits that often when left to interpretation, lead to bias.” I wasn’t aware of https://www.inhersight.com/ before, but it looks like a great resource.

Job Ops that Pop

Wattpad is looking to hire a Head of Programmatic & Ad Operations in Canada or remotely. This position will be key in overseeing Wattpad’s programmatic advertising business and ad operations functions.

Fox Corporation is hiring a remote Product Manager, Web Display Ad Technology who will own a range of products. This person will facilitate bringing innovation to market and provide support, maintenance, and ongoing improvement/development of all web display ad technology implemented across various web properties. 

CafeMedia is looking for a Research Analyst in the New York, NY, area. This person will be responsible for helping to derive meaningful insights from large amounts of data, building metrics, finding answers, and creating dependable, repeatable solutions.

Publicis Media is seeking an Associate Director, Global Partnerships (PMX) in NYC.  This person will act as a lead and expert in Global Digital Partnership management, developing in-depth relationships with Global Partnership colleagues. 

Quartile is hiring a remote Sr. Enterprise Account Executive to join their Sales department, where you’ll work on the Enterprise/Strategic Accounts team of their New Business division, pitching innovative technology, nurturing relationships, and closing deals. 

PebblePost has an opening for a remote Sr. Campaign Operation Manager who will configure, manage and optimize advertising campaigns on their innovative and proprietary Programmatic Direct Mail (PDM) platform.
