The TD Foundation Gala turned out to be as amazing as ever. I honestly rank it as one of the best networking events of the year as well as the most charitable. Feel free to do more and help a veteran in current need: A Green Beret is currently being treated for advanced OCD (directly connected to his combat experience). His OCD has forced his wife to leave her job to stay home and care for their 2 children (both have special needs). Concurrently, he is paying out-of-pocket for the treatments while awaiting the insurance coverage decision from Tricare, which is putting them even further into financial hardship. The request is for payment of 2 months' mortgage ($1,992.78/mo x 2 = $3,985.56 total) to assist them while awaiting the decision from Tricare. Contact me and I'll put you in touch with Tom.

Base Camp Keynotes Announced!

 
We're thrilled to share that WAYE's Sinead Bovell and Deloitte's Steven Soechtig will be keynote speakers at Base Camp Newport Beach. 

Sinead Bovell is the founder of WAYE and a futurist who has served as a tech contributor for publications such as Vogue, The Star, and The Globe and Mail. She will talk with us about the future of work, artificial intelligence, diversity in technology, and emerging technologies.

Steven Soechtig is a Managing Director and Practice Leader at Deloitte and the author of the book Make Your Brand Matter: Experience-Driven Strategies to Capture Customers and Keep Them Loyal. He'll share best practices for improving your messaging to readers about how you use their information to enhance their experience on your site.
