Navigators: Navigate!

Published on May 1, 2023

It’s here! It’s here! We’re so excited that Navigator is this Wednesday. Sorry – Sold Out Navigator is this Wednesday. Feel free to join the waitlist in case a spot opens up. More news below, but I’ll just add quickly that Kristofer Doerfler just released The Universal Principles of The Conscious Attention Economy which he’ll discuss in his session. Oh, and we added Catherine Patterson from The Trade Desk to our speaker lineup. I’m going to be asking her about DSPs and all the things about the programmatic pipes we want to know.

When not locking down Navigator, our eyes look North to Canada. Digital Day Camp is shaping up. This isn’t only a publisher ad ops event – agencies, brands, and tech companies will be involved. News below plus the agenda will be announced soon!

I’ll stick to just May (and June 1st) stuff for this week. So much more is in the hopper…

Navigator NYC

You’ve heard of the tech tax, but what does it really cost to run a minority-owned media business? On May 3, Christopher Kenna, Chairman and Founder of Brand Advance Group and award-winning entrepreneur, will join us at Navigator NYC to illuminate this critical issue. In a no-holds-barred conversation with Rob Beeler, Kenna will describe how the path to operating as a Black-owned media company often involves negotiating hidden hurdles and costs which undermine the media companies we collectively want to support and fund. This raw and unfiltered fireside chat will illuminate areas of our industry that need to evolve to contribute to a more equitable media landscape.

Passes to Navigator are sold out. Email us if you’d like to be added to our waitlist.
